How Metro Manila number coding works
Number coding uses the last digit of your plate to decide which weekday your private vehicle is restricted on major roads. The standard pairing is 1–2 on Monday through 9–0 on Friday.
Hours
The common MMDA hours are 7:00 AM–10:00 AM and 5:00 PM–8:00 PM. 10:00 AM is still a coding minute if morning coding ends at 10:00. 10:01 AM starts window hours.
City differences
Makati is configured with a continuous 7:00 AM–7:00 PM rule. Some Taguig and Pasay roads are marked as community-reported exceptions until an administrator confirms them.
