Number coding rules in Metro Manila

The Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP), commonly called number coding, restricts private vehicles on major Metro Manila roads based on the last digit of the plate.

Plate schedule

Monday: 1 and 2. Tuesday: 3 and 4. Wednesday: 5 and 6. Thursday: 7 and 8. Friday: 9 and 0. Saturday and Sunday: no coding under the standard schedule.

Standard hours

Standard MMDA hours are 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on weekdays. Window hours are 10:01 AM to 4:59 PM. Exact boundaries are inclusive of the configured start and end times.

Makati

Makati is configured separately with continuous 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM coding and no window hours. Confirm the current city ordinance.
